Information on admissions at Countryside Montessori School

Welcome to Countryside

We are excited to begin this process and look forward to getting to know you and your family. Countryside has open enrollment, so students can be accepted at any time during the year that space is available. Here is a sketch of the admissions process.

  • Submit application to Karen with your $100 non-refundable application fee
  • Note: Families who wish to be considered for financial aid should complete the Financial Aid Application after submitting the Application for Admission
  • Click here to learn more about Countryside’s financial aid program.
  • Financial aid decisions are made independently from admissions decisions and do not affect an applicant’s opportunity for enrollment

Plan for about two hours. This part of the process is for parents only. Both parents must attend.

  • observation in your child’s prospective class
  • meeting with prospective teacher
  • meeting with the Head of School

Parent and child have a half hour visit to your child’s prospective class

Once parent and student interviews are completed and school records and recommendations (if children are transferring from another school/program) have been received, an admission decision will be made by the admission committee. Parents will be notified by email upon decision.

Note: Completion of the Admission Process does not imply admission to the school.

Part of the admission process at Countryside involves a student interview and visit. The visit is a half day. Student will meet with prospective teachers, other students, attend classes, have lunch and physical education. This is an opportunity for the student to learn about the school and ask questions, and for the school to get to know the student.
